Files

Files is Multify's shared drive between you and your agent. Upload reference docs, pull down reports your agent created, and keep everything available across web, desktop, mobile, and the browser extension.

About the name "ClawBox" In the product UI you'll always see Files. Some older URLs and technical tool names still say clawbox under the hood — that's intentional for compatibility. As a customer you can ignore the old name.

What Files Is For

  • You → agent — upload a contract, CSV, deck, or screenshot; tell chat what to do with it.
  • Agent → you — when Multify generates a spreadsheet, PDF, or export, it lands in Files for you to open or download.
  • Any device — the same library appears on web, desktop, mobile, and can be fed from the browser extension capture flow.

Upload & Download

1
Open Files
Web navigator → Files, desktop Files panel, or the mobile Files tab.
2
Upload
Drag and drop (web/desktop) or use the upload control. On mobile you can pick from files, photos, or camera.
3
Tell your agent
In chat: "Summarize the PDF I just uploaded called Acme-MSA.pdf and list open obligations."

Desktop Superpowers

The desktop app is built for file-heavy days:

  • Drag files straight into the app
  • Watched folders — surface new files from Downloads (or any folder) and upload + instruct in one motion
  • Open agent outputs with your default apps in one click

Public Share Links

Share a single file with a public link when someone outside Multify needs the artifact. Turn sharing off anytime. Hover thumbnails on the web help you confirm you're sharing the right file before you send the link.

With Tasks & Chat

  • Task attachments — attach Files to a task so the brief and the source material travel together.
  • Chat attachments — drop files into a chat turn (web, desktop, mobile) so the model can see them in context. See Chat.

Search & Cleanup

Search by filename, multi-select after a search to delete clutter, and keep projects tidy by filing important outputs under a Project.

Good workflow Upload the source → ask chat to process it → open the result from Files → file both under the same Project for the next meeting.
