Tasks
The Board: Later → Done
Statuses are fixed and ordered so everyone knows what "done" means:
- Later — park ideas that aren't in the immediate pile (a soft backlog that peeks beside To-do).
- To-do — ready to start.
- Doing — in progress (agents move here when they claim work).
- Verify — agent finished; waiting for a human to review.
- Done — reviewed and accepted.
On web and desktop you'll see a kanban board; on mobile you can switch between a focused list and a board view. The board auto-refreshes so moves from teammates or your agent show up live — with a smooth animation when a card changes column.
Creating a Task
AI Tags & Smart Helpers
- AI-suggested tags — while editing a task, Multify can propose tags so your board stays organized without manual taxonomy work.
- Improve description — a magic-wand control rewrites a draft description to be clearer (with undo if you prefer the original).
- Last-used projects — the project picker surfaces projects you used recently so filing is one click.
- Model picker — when a task is assigned to the built-in Multify agent, you can choose which model should work it (favorites supported on web/desktop/mobile).
Pin, Filter, Focus
- Pin a task — pinned cards float to the top of their column so critical work never scrolls away.
- Filter by project — drop the noise and only show one initiative's board (see Projects).
- Search — find tasks by title, description, or short task code (e.g.
TN66-X7PD). - Sort — switch between kanban order and updated/created sorts when you want a timeline view.
Share a Task Publicly
Need a client or teammate outside Multify to see a task? Turn on a public share link from the task (web, desktop, and mobile). You control whether comments and assignee details are visible. Team owners and builders can audit every shared task from Task Settings and revoke links anytime.
Schedule Recurring Work
Assign a task to Multify (or an agent) and attach a schedule — one-off or recurring (hourly, daily, weekly, monthly). Each fire is recorded as a run; the card stays on the board as the single source of truth. Scheduled tasks may require a paid plan when freemium gating is enabled — you'll see an upgrade prompt if so.
How Agents Use Tasks
Your agent claims work by moving a task to Doing, does the work, then moves it to Verify with a summary comment. You (or a teammate) do the final Verify → Done check. That human review step is intentional — agents ship draft results, people accept them.
Pair with Runbooks
When a set of tasks is a repeatable process, assemble them into a Runbook and play the whole sequence in one click — without scrambling each task's own status on the board.
